A Conference on “COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN BIOINFORMATICS” was organized by Dr. Amit Kumar, CEO, BioAxis DNA Research Centre Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad & Chair-Resource Development Committee, IEEE-Hyderabad Section at Godavari, TCS, Madhapur, Hyderabad on 24th April, 2010.
This Event was designed to equip the students, faculties, researchers and technocrats in the upcoming field of artificial intelligence called informational systems in the field of biology. The lectures were delivered by Dr. Atul Negi, (UOH), Dr. Bapi Raju (UOH), Dr. Rajgopal Srinivasan (TCS Innovations Labs, Hyd.), Dr. MGPL Narayana (Chairman, IEEE, Hyd. Section and VPTCS, Hyd.) on the topics like pattern recognition in bioinformatics, Micro array analysis and Artificial neural networks(ANN),Hidden Markov Models(HMM), signal processing perspectives to systems biology, clinical application of pattern recognition in diagnostics and understanding protein protein interactions in the light of signal processing.National level Conference on “DNA-THE DECISIVE EVIDENCE” was conducted on 17th Aug, 2009 & 18th Aug, 2009 by BDRC in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh Police Academy (APPA). This conference was actively participated by Police Personnel, Scientists, Lecturers, and Students from all over the country. Some Glimpses of this Conference are:

POLICE TRAININGS 2009: Police officers of PTC, DTC and CTC of Andhra Pradesh were trained by the Department of Forensic Science, BDRC in DNA forensics. Major topics covered were DNA evidence collection procedures, preservation, packaging and the importance of DNA evidences in Crime Investigation. Around 2000 Police Personnel were given the trainings throughout the state.

WORKSHOPS: A Hands on training in various techniques of Microbiology, Biotechnology, DNA fingerprinting, Bioinformatics and SAS were conducted and being conducted successfully every year by BDRC all over the India in various Colleges, Universities, etc. Some of them to name:
